Autoglyphs’ Attractive Nature

Autoglyphs, launched in 2019 by Larva Labs (creators of CryptoPunks), stand out in the NFT world for being entirely stored on the Ethereum blockchain, avoiding the external storage issues that affected earlier NFTs, including Punks.

With each of the NFT project’s 512 artworks being distinct and exempt from ongoing fees, Autoglyphs is celebrated as being a superior embodiment of algorithm-generated art in the blockchain technology sphere.

The recently acquired collection is one of the seven complete sets and part of a trio of developer compilations by Larva Labs co-founders Matt Hall and John Watkinson. Previously, the ‘Old School Collection’ held this distinguished set before yesterday’s landmark sale.

Despite Autoglyphs already having a history of over $50 million in resales and exhibitions at venues like Centre Pompidou and Sotheby’s, its recent ten-in-one purchase signals a new era for Autoglyphs and highlights the appeal of generative art in the NFT world.
